Yes, I know you know, it's Friday. It is also my last blog this week. I am going to try to blog every week at least once or at the very least, once every other week. It really depends on my mood and whats going on.
I have been ranting lately and I do apologize for that. I will be changing that as much as possible. I have my days like other people do and don't feel like being cheery!
TODAY, I am feeling alright and wanted to share something I found in my inbox and thought other bloggers, mainly photog bloggers, might enjoy as much as I did. Its about 50+ things to write about today. Ideas in case your staring at your screen and cannot think of what to write... I do that... :)
Some where really great for me and others, I would like to read about myself and plan to research on. I really do think others will find this helpful and enjoyable!
I will leave a link to go get the PDF file and also the main source of the information.
One of my favorite photog communities, Photographers Connection!!
AMAZING!! Love them and it is such an amazing blog and full of wonderful people.
Here are your links and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

P.s.
The gloomy part in the title, is because it's gloomy looking outside. Dark skies and 58 degree weather. Not uncommon in this area but yesterday was 89 degrees!! So wonderful. Maybe it'll pick up soon. :) TTFN

Finding your style- Article from Rock The Shot!
"My friend has a friend who knows the neighbor's sister who is a photographer... I've decided to become a photographer too because... Photography is the new BIG THING!"
Sound familiar? Perhaps this is not your case. Perhaps you are a photographer because you really have a passion for it and you love creating art. Regardless... photography is therapy for the soul. It is an instrument that makes music you don't hear but see.
PHOTOGRAPHY IS A BOOK WITH A STORY TO TELL!
Despite the beauty... it's easy to let your worst critic get in the way of making photography a truly enjoyable experience. Instead of photography being therapy for the soul, it can transform itself into a constant torment as we compare ourselves to others.
... Mostly because it is extremely difficult to be nice to ourselves. In fact, it is a lot easier to criticize and doubt everything we do...
The urge to become "as good as" one of my favorite photographers was dragging me right into a deep dark hole of doubt and in-conformity. I had to stop and think of a way to be authentic and to be happy being me.
After some time of refocusing, I felt comfortable with myself and I started liking my personal photography touches.
... I admore plenty of photographers bigger than me BUT I do not wish to be like them. I LOVE being me.
Now the question is, do you feel inspired or discouraged by other photogrphers?
If photography is causing you headaches, anxiety or if you find yourself carrying a havey bag of jealousy; you are not alone!
What do you do to find your zen? Lily shares some ideas in the full article! Be sure to head over there now for the FULL version and some amazing pictures!!
I LOVED everything in the article and could not wait to share it with everyone.
Here is the Bio on the Artist and the link to the original and full article.
Thanks for reading.

Need To Kick It Into Gear!!
I need someone to kick my butt into gear. I never seem to be able to follow a plan I put into place when I do things by myself. I know... Lousy excuse! And it is. I make up all these excuses in my head and then just never do anything. Especially when it comes to physical things lately. Such as, working out and dishes. I hate both and I used to love working out and going outside. Dishes never really bothered and I LOVE cooking and baking but haven't in a long time. I just don't crave to do it anymore... And now that's slipping into others things in my life. Like photography and raising my daughter :(
Simple little things, I just don't want to do anymore. She loves going to the park and just being outside and I don't feel like taking her anymore. I feel like a crappy mother and tell her and my husband that things will change, but they don't.
So I need a kick in the butt that will last. I used to walk all over the place with my cousin and I loved it. I love walking but don't like to by myself... Even with a stroller and baby in tow. I don't know if that makes me pathetic or what. I just like company and talking to someone! And I don't like working out in front of someone! I know, I'm weird!
I just had to rant and get that out there! I joined Tone It Up awhile ago and forgot to sign up lol so now I have a profile and a plan. I'm hoping to keep this going and keep in my head that its all going to be worth it! I'll put my profile link below!
Thanks for listening and I'll be more upbeat next time! :)

Recap...
I went picture crazy again! THANK GOODNESS!!
I really missed taking pictures with my camera. I wanted to the whole time we were going through the old house but it was a little hard. I think I got the gist of what I wanted and maybe I'll just take some after pictures instead of the up close ones. I did however find some china plates and saucers that look so very cute but no set and no clue what to do with them... I don't want to use them lol and I cannot sell them to someone, and feel good about it, cause its not a full set. There was about 9 plates with about 4 different designs and about 5 saucers and one was pink while the rest are blue. No clue!! I think maybe I'll keep them as props. Maybe I'll use them for a tea and cake setting...
Other news, we had an awesome Easter Night Hunt with our baby girl! It was really cold that day and raining, so outside hunt was an option until night anyways and she loves the glow in the dark eggs better. Plus, she's only two!
We also went to Seaside for my mother in laws birthday and had a great day at the beach! Took a lot of pictures and some I LOVE so very much and some I edited like crazy lol
But we all had fun and the weather was great. My mother and Grandpa were sick for Easter, so we celebrated a late Easter with them this last weekend and they got little softballs and a black and pink glove/mitt thing (LOL sorry) for our girl. She loves it. Not that she knows exactly what to do with it but she tries and loves it anyways.
Last (for now), I finally put some of my own pictures on Pinterest and I was pretty scary for me! I don't really understand that part of my brain that says, "No, don't post those things. No one will like them anyways"... Doubt! Self-Conscious! Blah, blah, and Triple Blah... I know! I'm a whiner butt and I know it. I love photography and I like what I can do and I want people to tell me HONESTLY what the do and do not like about them, I'm just scared! Lol I'm getting there! Sorta.
Well thank you all for taking the time out of your busy day to hear my rants and raves.
Have a wonderful rest of your week and a spectacular weekend!

Thinking...
I have been thinking long, and hard about my photography. And I think I want to try Landscape, instead of families... I love taking photos of people and my daughter but I really love getting outside and somehow capturing that beauty that mother earth has to offer! I was looking at some photos today (sadly, don't know who took them...) and it inspired me to go outside and see if I can find some shots. I would to love to be able to make a book or just hang them on my wall. I love to look at landscapes and I love photographing them!! I just wish I knew what to do!! I think I'm going to post some of my photos on my sites and have you guys decide and hopefully get some advice, criticism, and maybe (Hopefully) some praise! Here are some of the photos I found today!

Long start to a year
I have to confess, I haven't actually touched my camera in about a month! I hate it but never seem to have a free minute or anything picture worthy enough for it. I've been sticking to my phone camera and even that isn't being used as much. I miss it!! This weekend will full of finishing the house and moving in! I can't wait anymore and I'm going to go crazy if we don't get it done. I feel its been taking too long as it is. And really, the house isn't worth it! I love old houses and I loved living in that house but since it got the way it is and what's been happening in there... I don't really want to live there. I need a clean start and I don't think it will happen there. Maybe with time or patience but I doubt I'll ever feel completely comfortable there.
I also don't know why I'm complaining...
I shouldn't be and I am grateful. I want a roof for my daughter and food for her belly, and we have that! We love eachother and we'll get through anything and everything!
:) On from that rant...
I found an awesome park near where I live and cannot wait for the rain to stop and take a day off there. My baby girl is gonna love it and I know she misses going outside as much as we used to! Rain won't hurt her but she's been sick and still has a runny nose and cough. When it's all over and the rain goes away, she'll go outside more!
I'm going to at least take out my stroller more and even for just an hour out, she'll be happy and dandy :)
Well that's about it...
I've ranted and raved. It's time to go clean and cook.
Hope y'all have a wonderful day and weekend!!!

Moved out of Central Oregon
We made the move from Bend, Oregon to Redmond, then to Madras... Now we are finally moved in back home and settling. I have not been posting on anything or really doing much but taking care of the house and my family. Which comes first, no matter what!
Now that we have that settled, on to what has been happening.
December 7th was the worst day ever for me and my small family! My father, Joe, passed away that day. I was, and to an extant, crushed!! My dad meant the world to me and forever will. I still don't think I have fully latched on to the fact that I will never see him again. Or hear him, hold his hand... It makes me cry to think of it still. I wish he could have gotten to see my daughter grow up, our next children, and so much more! He was only 50 years old and turning 51 on January 18th. I think that's enough for now. I can barely see the screen!
January 14th, my babygirl turned 2!!
She is getting so much bigger and smarter. She continues to amaze and outshine! I love her personality and her wonder! She has a life and mind of her own and I thank the lord and angels for giving us her! She makes everything better and challenging and easier... Its hard to explain but I think you get it! :)
So that's about it for big news and events that have been happening in our lives! I have to paint all of the rooms upstairs, and will hopefully be redoing the floors through out the house! We shall see, cause that adds up and gets pretty spendy! I was thinking about trying the brown bag floor thing that I keep seeing for the extra room downstairs.
Any thoughts??
Have you done it or seen it before??
Any comments, advice, and/or help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you all so much for your support and hope you had a great read :)
