Chapstick 100% Natural Lip Butters

I received some chapsticks not too long ago and figured they would be the same as they usually are. I love using them and I usually carry one with me at all times.
This time, I got three. And all different.

Sweet Papaya
Green Tea Mint
and Pink Grapefruit.

While I immediately opened the Green Tea Mint, my daughter wanted the Pink Grapefruit. She is 4 after all and it said Pink... I loved them!! The grapefruit was very citrus-y and would be perfect for summer. The Sweet Papaya was next and had a nice, warm scent to it. I love it for fall. I use the Green Tea Mint all the time and it smells amazing. I was expecting it to smell too strongly of int, as they per usual. But this on didn't. And the Green Tea scent was there as ell. It is one of my favorite. I gave the Papaya to my mother in law and my daughter kept the Grapefruit.
All in all, we were all happy with them? Yes.
Would I buy them? Yes.
Are they Moisturizing? Yes.
Do they last all day? No.
Do they come off with wear? Yes.
How often did I reapply in one day? About 4 times.
I say they are worth a try.
Thank you!

I received these free from Influenster for testing purposes and all opinions are my own.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness can be hard. At times it feels like a rock on your chest. A weight in your heart that will never go away. But being hurt and forgiving those who hurt you, make you stronger. Make you a better person. After the dust has cleared and your mind is focused, forgiving helps you more than the hurting. It can heal. You will never forget, and the memories will be there, albeit less clear as the time goes on. Your heart will be light, your mind will be clear and that rock on your chest will fall.
Life goes on. People make mistakes.
Sometimes, we all need to let go of what no longer matters and move forward. Towards a better life and a happy future. If you are hurting, you are not alone. If you hurt someone, you are also not alone.
There is no peace without forgiveness.
Forgive those that hurt you, and forgive yourself for allowing them to.
We all have struggles. We all have pain.
We all love.
We want to love and be loved.

Small Tarot Reading

Single Card Reading
This is going to be a period of struggle ending in worldly success.  Self control, effort, perseverance: this should be the theme you have to concentrate on. Work within the boundaries of your life to build up a successful existence. At a very basic level, it implies war, a struggle, and an eventual, hard-won victory; either over enemies, obstacles, nature, the beasts inside you, or to just get what you want. But there is a great deal more. Control is required over opposing emotions, wants, needs, people, or circumstances; to bring them together and give them a single direction. And, obviously, it has to be your direction! Confidence is also needed and, most especially, motivation. There are indications that you will have to play a lone hand in an important decision or a fight. You may have to choose between the materialistic and the more unconscious or the spiritual. The only way to succeed is by attacking from the side, rather than straight on. This card also signals a ruthless, die-hard desire to win at any cost. You are being reminded to save your energy for what comes after. Victory, after all, is just the start of things. If this card has shown up, it is because you have an obsession about work, goals, or an issue of over-achieving. Are you consumed by a desire to climb the ladder of success? Probably, you are in the process of travelling physically, or moving in an emotional direction. It`s usually a fast motion too. If you want to get somewhere fast, or a quick change of pace is coming - most assuredly this card has appeared because it is going to get things moving. Possibly within the next seven weeks or seven months, there will be some travel, or an important trip or journey that has links with the family.

My tarot card reading.

State Of Mind Reading Past Card: You have drawn The World card. Everything will finally come together, successfully and at last. There will be peace at home and you will feel content. Friends will look to you for guidance. This is the time to prove your loyalty. Do all you can, go out of your way if you have to, to help them out. After all, that is what your relationship has always been about -- being there for each other. Give well thought-through, mature and insightful advice to those who come to you today. Present Card: You`ve drawn the Temperance card in reverse. This suggests that you are trying to constantly balance emotions. Looks like you are under great emotional stress caused by frustration. Again, this has to do with things not going as quickly as you`d like. It could also mean that there are conflicts between your business and personal life. In many cases, this means that a whole different approach to the problem is needed, maybe even a total change in your life. In many respects, it`s the first sign of a healing taking place. Future Card: It is a dazzling moment, dreamlike yet crystal clear. Connections you probably never understood before are going to be made and mysteries are going to be revealed. The card appearing in your reading indicates one of your close friends may be feeling a bit down and might need your help and emotional support to get out of this. Do not let them mope about and try to distract them with interesting activities. An unexpected guest may drop in who might require quite a bit if your time and attention.--http://www.astroyogi.com/tarot/peace-of-mind/ Copyright © Tarot Reading App

Fireworks and Photography

I know the fireworks are usually on the 4th of July but every year we have a small carnival in our town. We have rides and all the foods that are so good but bad for you. It lasts for three days and on the second night, they light fireworks from the river. It is really beautiful. This year, and last, our view is right across and up from the river and perfect. :)
Although I love the show, this is the first year I won't be watching them with my husband. He has to work tonight. I know it's not a big deal, I'm just weird like that. I make big deals out of nothing lol a true woman.
I will be taking a lot of pictures tonight and hopefully get some good ones. If I do, I will post some. Plus I want to post some of our family vacation pictures from February. Yes, I know... I take a long time to post.
We went to another air museum and Cannon Beach, Oregon. We made a lot of little stops and went to another aquarium as well. We had a lot of fun!!
On to another subject. I have been craving orange juice all of a sudden. It kind of drives me crazy. I will definitely have to go get some. But of course, once I get some I won't want it. I also want to make a sweater. Not the same topic but a craving of mine. Kind of like an itch.
That's it for now. I'm going to go set up for the fireworks show and pictures.
Every one have a great weekend!!

Getting back into a routine?!

As everyone who has ever met me knows, I do not do routines or schedules well. I don't stick to them and all my habits are bad ones. I pick at my nails and bite them. I start new projects before finishing the previous one. So on and so forth... The list goes on. I am going to find some self help kind of books for it. I need to stick to something. I really do try!
I want to continue with my photography for sure, I will not give that up. But there is another project I want to start. I want to start my own online store for selling my crochet and knitted items I make. I don't want to start until I'm done making some example pieces and finishing my Christmas presents for our family. I want to give them their gifts early, so they can use them for winter. That will give me time to make some winter projects and start my inventory. I want to focus on winter accessories and baby items. Mainly blankets, hats, scarfs, gloves, etc... I also want to offer different materials foe the same items.
Some blankets made from wool yarn and some made with acrylic yarn. That kind of thing. When we move into our own house and have some more land, I want to go back to having some animals. Some of which I want is Sheep. You probably guessed it, to make my own yarn. I have always loved making things. And making people happy. Whether that's taking family photos to treasure or making a family tree blanket to hang on their walls for years!
I plan to start selling in December or January. I'm going into this with my head on straight (ish) and a really good attitude and outlook. May sound naive but who said being optimistic was a bad thing?!?
Hope your week goes swell. Keep on smiling!!

Moving Again?!?

We have been very lucky and grateful to have the house we live in now for almost 2 years. We feel very fortunate. We've been on a rollercoaster of good and bad times for the last 3 years. I know we'll still have some bumps in the road to come but I feel we're stronger now and can handle what may come our way, together!
My husband and I have been thinking about buying our own home for a while now. I think in 2 years, we'll be ready and have saved up enough money for a down payment and some furniture. Luckily, he also agrees with that timeline. Also, we seem to have the same ideas for the kind of house we want and what kind of surroundings we want. We don't differ in opinions too much anyways, mainly on what movie to watch...
Edit: The tale end of this post got cut off, I will post the rest tomorrow at a better hour. Goodnight Folks.
Hope every one had a great 4th of July weekend!

Time Flies...

Wow! I cannot believe it's already May. It's crazy to me how time can fly and I don't even realize it sometimes. I didn't know I haven't been posting. I could have sworn that was posting every week and I even wrote some reviews ahead of time and scheduled them. I am so bad at time management and remembering things I need to do. I've been making a lot of crocheted and knitted items and everything else on my to do list seems to fade away and I don't do them...
Hmmm what else have I been doing? I started the Tone It Up Bikini Series and I'm doing the #100BySummer challenge. 100 miles before summer starts and the Bikini Series lasts 8 weeks. I'm doing pretty good. Still have a long way to go but I'm getting there. My friend Ash has teamed up with me and we try to keep each other motivated and accountable.
I really going to post more on here and on my Instagram. I need to check in on there for TIU everyday and I haven't been all last week. Again, I'm bad at it...
Well that's all for now and I'll post again next week. I think I'll post some of my crocheted and knitted items on here too! Ttfn

Kiss Lashes and Glue from JingleVoxBox

My mini review and application.

The lashes I received were larger than what I usually buy. That being said, I liked them and they were actually very comfortable. I had to pay attention a lot when I wore them, only because they kept hitting my glasses when I looked down or blinked. I pulled my glasses a little aways from my face and didn't have that problem as much.

The lash band was flexible, clear and easy to fit to my eye. I did clip them a little on the ends so they fit better. I do that to all lashes anyways. I think the end result was really nice and great for a night out or a party. I definitely wouldn't wear them for everyday use.

On to the lash glue. I got the Brush On Strip Lash Adhesive in Clear and with Aloe.
When applying the glue to the lash, its a milky white color and dries to a clear, almost translucent blue color that is not really noticeable unless under a bright light. It does get tacky fairly quickly and easy to adjust on the eye until its set and 'dries'.

The glue was very easy to apply and it stayed put for hours. It didn't hurt to peel them off. After I did, any excess glue was easily peeled off the lashes and anything left on my eye came off with my eye makeup remover.

To apply, I take the lashes off their plastic case and measured them to my eye. They come with a tad bit of glue on them already to keep them on the case. I use that glue to place the lashes on my eyes, one at a time. I start at the inner corner where I would put them every time I wear them. Then I look at the ends and see how much I need to cut off. I do a little bit, place back on my eye. If they need more cut off, I cut a little more and keep repeating until I get the length I want. It's always best to cut a little at a time and keep cutting, than to cut a bunch and not like how they look.
I then take the lashes, all cut and ready, and one at a time I pick them up with tweezers and apply a thin layer of glue on the band. I wait about 20-30 seconds or until I can see the glue turning slightly clear. I go from the top, pointing down towards my eye and place the lash straight down onto my own lash line, in the middle. I take the out most part of the lash and drag it to the place I want it and press down with a little pressure. Then press down, also using the tweezers, on the inner corner. I see if I like it and the lash band is all toughing my eyes and then using my fingers, press my real lashes and the fake lashes together.
I don't pre curl my lashes but I do apply a thin layer of mascara but not to the fake lashes.
That's it. Hope it helped. Also, there are plenty of YouTube videos that better explain it.

All in all, I loved both products and will continue to use both. I hope to go get more lashes more to my length and liking. I might also replace my beloved Ardell lash glue with this Kiss one!

Thanks Influenster and KISS!

JingleVoxBox from Influenster. A Small Reveiw.

Late posting this but not too much.
I didn't get the box in time for Christmas but it's okay. I still got to enjoy the products and will continue to enjoy them. A lot of what I got I am still using. I will jump in and show and tell what I received. Remember, I received these products free from Influenster for testing review purposes and all opinions are my own. Thank you.
Lets get to it!

First, when I opened the box I saw a cute stuffed toy.
It was Rapunzel from Tangled and from Hallmark. They are called Itty Bittys and are so cute!! My daughter loves the one I got and would have been really excited to find it in her stocking, had I gotten it in time. She was still stoked though, so win win!
Not a lot to review on this one for me. Great quality item for sure. Adorable! She wants more. I wish there was a closer Hallmark to me, but there isn't. We used to live in walking distance to one in Bend, if they had them there, I would have bought them all. You should go check them out for yourself.
I will leave their info below, as well as all the products mentioned in this post.

The one I got

Their online store

Next, COOKIES lol
I got three packs of the most Delicious little snack cookies from Briscoff.
They tasted so good. Everyone loves them, I had to fight to keep one for testing and a picture or two.
Needless to say, we bought more... They are small and great for on the go snacks as well as a little treat after a long day. I love enjoying mine with a warm cup of tea and just relax.
Definitely go check these out. They are not too sweet but they do have a taste. Not like most, where its like crackers or dry cookies. These are really good. We think so at least ♥

The ones I got.

Their online store

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
I already have a review on this one. That went up when I got the box. I was very impressed with it and wrote a review early but still love the product and still use it. I will link that as well as where to find it.

Where to Buy

KISS Lash Adhesive and Lashes
The glue I got, I really like. It lasts awhile for me, but I'm at home or running errands. I have not worn them out to a party or for a long night, if you buy them and do, I would love to know how well they last. The glue is Latex free, Formaldehyde free and with Aloe. It dries clear. I really do love this lash glue. It works for me!
The lashes I got are a bit extreme for me though. I still love them but I reserve them for special occasions or a party. I wear glasses and big lashes bother me sometimes because they can touch my lens and it feels weird to me. The ones I got are Posh. They are a bit thicker than my normal ones and longer. Glamorous is the word I'm looking for lol
They aren't 'heavy' feeling to me but like I said I haven't really worn them that much for a very long time. I have been looking at other to purchase, namely Chic or Ritz!
They look a little more natural for me.

What I got and where to buy

Ice nail polish in French Kiss
This is such a beautiful blue polish! Its opaque in two thin coats. A very smooth creme. I thinks its going to be perfect for my 4th of July nails. It's just the right shade. Love the formula. Cannot say enough good things about this polish. It's that good. And the price is amazing. The only downfall, I have not been able to find it in a store near me and everywhere I look online doesn't have it... :/
I don't know if I got the wrong name printed on it or what?! I will keep looking though.

Where to buy

NYC City Proof 24hr Waterproof eyeliner pencil
 In the shade 931 Black.
SUPER creamy and easy to apply. I use it in my water line and love it. I can never get a good tight line because my eyes water too much and it smears and eventually fades from top and bottom lash lines. But this really did stay put and last for hours! Not 24, I wiped it off but it was difficult to remove as well. I will be buying more of this! The price is amazing and the only drugstore liner that has worked for me. SO HAPPY I got this. It is now a staple of mine ♥

What I got and where to buy

And last but not least...
Ore-Ida Tator Tots
I got a coupon for a bag of them. I already liked and ate these before, so nothing new. They are still really good and now they have a ton of recipes to try with them! Not too expensive, we don't eat a lot of tots around here. There is some cheaper and just as good tots to buy. I don't get over excited about these but food is food for us. Yes, I love to cook 'gormat' and try new things but I also love tot casserole and make it all the time. Not being snobbish here... We don't always have the money or room for a big bag of tots in the freezer... Thank you. We all do enjoy these and buy them from time to time. The recipes sound amazing and we will be trying a few!

Cetaphil Moisterzing Cream Review

I love getting new creams to try. Especially for dry skin.
When I first opened the jar and smelled it, I was happy there was no heavy scent. That meant that my husband could use it too. And if I put it on my face, my driest areas, it wouldn't irritate me.

The consistency is really thick and wonderful. If you don't like putting your finger into a jar of product, they also offer squeeze bottles.
For this particular cream the price ranges from $8.99-$15.99 depending on size.
I read the info on their website. Tried it for a couple days on my hands, feet and face. Not to mention on my husband and daughter. My hubby has rough hands from working all night, everyday. And callouses on his feet from his boots. My daughter has no real dry skin except on her head. That's from me and I didn't use this on it cause it's in her hair.
How did it work? Did we all like it?
Great and yes!! It didn't take away my husbands callouses on his feet but it did help make them softer and his hands less rough. He doesn't like making them too soft. It ends up making them easier to cut open or some such. I don't complain.
As for my daughter, shes already super soft. So we just stick to regular lotion. I'm hoping if it helps with my Eczema, I'll it on her scalp as well.
My hands and feet have never felt softer. I actually put away my Neutrogena hand cream for this... If you know me, that means something. As for my face, oh my goodness gracious... It feels so good! And not at all greasy. No heavy scent, no scent period. My face looks soft. No more visible dryness. You used to be able to see patches of dry skin on each side of my nose, right under my glasses. Very obvious! Now, it's smooth and looks healthy. I love it.
Thank you Cetaphil and Influenster!!
Will be buying a bigger size as soon as I get close to running out. Or before and keep this small one in my purse! Any questions? Ask away!

I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster, but all opinions are my own.

Happy New Year and More

It was a very busy ending of the year for all of us. So many Holidays and everyone wants to party. We didn't 'party' but we did celebrate with family. It was amazing and my daughters first year to spend with everyone. She had a blast. Now on to the new year and hopefully a better schedule. I went and bought a huge planner from Walmart, cause I'm fancy like that. I also don't want to waste $50+ on a big name one, I don't know if I'm going to use all the time. Start small and work my way up...
As for this month, my daughter is turning 4 on the 14th (So proud and sad!) and her party, with a Frozen theme, is the 16th. So again, we'll be busy but not too bad.
After that, no more birthdays until March.
Which is also when we hope to take our annual family vacation. I have a surprise location to take my hubby and our daughter!! It's going to be so fun.
Okay, on to today and what I'm going to be doing for the next couple of days.
Writing some reviews for two boxes I got from Influenster. I'm going to get a new Subscription box this next month and sadly cancelling my Ipsy. I like trying new products all the time but prefer buying my own makeup and things for my skin type. I LOVE when I get my Ipsy bags on the mail but I want a little break. I will probably end up getting more in the future but for now, I want something different. I'll be getting a book subscription. Not sure which one yet.
Will let you know when I get it!
I'm still going to try to upload a post at least twice a month, if not more. It is one of my goals and I write it down on my planner to remember. I need organization skills. I used to better at this when I was in school. I need to start now so I'm better at it for when our girl starts school.
That is all for now. Will have some reviews up soon. Maybe more than one a day.
Hope every one had great Holidays and hearts open to the new year!!
