We moved
again! Seems like we keep doing this. And we do, but this should be a
good year or two before we move again. We have a storage to load up
and bring here but other than that, we have almost everything squared
away. And getting rid of that storage will be one less bill to pay.
Yay!
We finally
are getting back to our lives being somewhat normal and at least more
balanced. I think this will be a good thing in the long run. I know
where we are isn't where my husband wants to live but it'll do. He
likes living in the country more than the city and we live right in
the middle of one now. It's not permanent but it will be for a year
at least. He wants to move to Alaska, and we have to save for that
and it'll give him time to find a job there or one here he likes.
Oregon isn't bad and we might find someplace we like and not want to
move ever again. I guess it'll all depend.
I'm happy
where we are for now. Granted I don't like the city anymore than he
does but it's a roof over our head and we have a good town around us.
I want to get
back to doing photography and maybe selling some. I don't know how I
want to about that though. I have sold some pieces in the past when
we lived in Bend. And I sold a couple on Etsy but I didn't really
like that. I want to go back to going to Art Expos and Art Walks. I'm
not sure if they do that kind of thing here but they do in Bend and
in Astoria. Bend isn't really an option right now but the art sales
usually start in September there. I'll have time to plan, if we go
that route. I'll have to look into the art world in this area and/or
look into what Astoria dates are.
Other than
that, just trying to get settled in. I'm taking a break on my nails
for awhile so I can clean and organize my new place and not worry
about it lol
That and I
bruised my middle finger really bad, I don't know how, and it kind of
feels weird to have anything on it right now. The spot is fading a
little and almost feels like it's half numb. We shall see. Now that I
have all my polishes in one place again, I might get a big itch to do
them more often :)
To fill my
bored moments, I've been tinkering in photo shop and playing around
with some new actions I got from a friend who makes them. I seriously
wish I could understand how to do that. It's amazing!
Tomorrow I
want to take a walk around town and see if there is a library near
by. I don't get Wi-Fi till Wednesday and I want to look up some new
books. Also I love libraries.
I always
wanted to be a librarian!
We're right
next to the water now, so maybe some early morning runs with the
jogger and a camera might be fun.
Well, that's
about it for now. Just a bunch of ramblings from me. We'll see how
thing to out and pray for the best.
Thanks for
reading.
